Responsibilities

  • Provide personal healthcare and related services as an extension of nursing or therapy services to the patient in their place of residence.
  • Absorb and assist with bathing and hygiene, hair and nail care, ambulation and transfers, dressing, and elimination.
  • Perform linen change, range of motion exercises, light meal preparation, and light housekeeping tasks pertinent to the patient/client.
  • Report on the patient’s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
  • Adhere to Apollo documentation and care procedures and maintain personal and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Current California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification, in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and accurately document services provided.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience in Home Healthcare.
