Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

About the role

CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, headquartered in San Ramon, CA, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to join their agency in San Ramon, CA.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration and under the supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician
• Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities
• Assist with activities supporting skilled services including checking temperature, pulse and respiration rates, assisting with exercises, or repetitive routines as prescribed by the clinicians
• Support other daily activities such as assisting with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, assistance with ambulatory transfers, and light housekeeping

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts
• Home Health Aide Training
• California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
• Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
• Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
• Strong experience using computers and computer systems
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Compensation is based on full time schedule

Schedule

Per Diem (12 visits p/week) * Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday

• Area #9 - This territory includes, but is not limited to, the cities of San Francisco
• Area #10 - Covering cities of San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay
