Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Ranges of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Oral feeding
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Meditation assistance
Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable work related experience
- Certified as Home Health Aide in the state of New York
- Meet all state requirements including a criminal background check
