Certified Hand Therapist - Torrey Pines

About the Role

Join the Scripps Health team in the Orthopedic Surgery department as a Certified Hand Therapist at Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines. This full-time position (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with some flexibility) offers the opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic alongside a tight-knit team of Hand Surgeons, three experienced Certified Hand Therapists, and two Medical Assistants on a wide variety of cases. The ideal candidate is confident in their skills, passionate about their work, and eager to become an integral member of our team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient function or ability, establishing a plan of care according to standards of practice.
• Perform reassessments relative to the initial evaluation and modify the plan of care as needed for outpatient hand therapy patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (required).
• Three years’ experience as a Certified Hand Therapist (preferred).

Pay

Position pay range: $54.24–$78.66 per hour.
