Certified Hand Therapist- PRN

About the role

The Certified Hand Therapist will treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. They will collaborate with the regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure they have the necessary resources for success.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, and treat patients with upper extremity disorders.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
• Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy.
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration required.
• Previous, demonstrated marketing experience.
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic.
• CPR certification.

$60.00 per hour
