Certified Hand Therapist

About the Role

A full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), either a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, to provide specialized hand therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation, planning, treatment, re-evaluation, and discharge of patients with upper extremity disorders
• Developing individualized treatment programs and providing custom splinting
• Maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, expanding relations
• Staying current with research and employing evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational or physical therapy program
• Specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
• National registration and state licensure
• Experience in custom splinting and orthopedic post-op care
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license
