About the Role
As a Certified Exercise Coach Stretch Specialist at The Exercise Coach, you will deliver our unique 20 and 40 minute coach-assisted stretches to clients of all ages. We utilize proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques in our stretches which are incredibly effective. The day-to-day work will never get boring with plenty of activity and variety!
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial consultations
- Working with a great team of coaches in a fun environment
- Track fitness results for clients and lead client education
- Grow the business through selling monthly and package sessions
- Measure success by tracking studio metrics
Requirements
- Passion for Health & Fitness
- Good Communication Skills: comfortable conversing in person and on the phone, professional demeanor, and clear instruction delivery
- People skills and personality: must love working with people and be able to show energy and excitement
- Fundamental knowledge of exercise science and human biology (college degree in a health-related field is a plus but not required)
- Successful completion of:
- The Exercise Coach Certification Course
- Nutrition Playbook Certification Course
- Valid CPR/AED certificate from a nationally-recognized provider
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
Preferred Skills
- Basic nutrition knowledge
- College degree in a health-related field
- Experience with various strength training applications
- Experience working with older adults and various limitations
