About the role
Join a rewarding healthcare role supporting dental teams and patient care. This position involves assisting dentists during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays (training provided), recording patient information, sterilizing tools, and supporting front-desk tasks like check-in and scheduling. You will ensure a clean, safe environment following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines, and share post-treatment care tips with patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
- Take X-rays (training provided)
- Record patient information accurately
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments
- Support front-desk tasks (check-in, scheduling)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable with a willingness to learn
- Ability to pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and work authorization in the U.S.
Skills
- Dental assisting certification (preferred but not required)
- Bilingual skills in Spanish/English (preferred but not required)
