Responsibilities

• Conduct routine health assessments
• Maintain and monitor vital signs
• Aid residents with mobility and safety during transfers
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care
• Support nutritional care by assisting with meals and accommodating special dietary needs
• Monitor hydration levels

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification (can be provided by Via Elegante)
• Valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification (Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Proof of Negative TB Test (can be provided by Via Elegante)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving

Qualifications

To excel as a Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante in our Sierra Vista Highlands community, you will need a combination of specialized skills and certifications. A valid Arizona Caregiver Certification is a state requirement for this role. In addition, a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card and an Arizona Memory Care Certification are also required. Your qualifications should also include a valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association, along with proof of a negative TB test, which can also be facilitated by our team.

Pay
