Starting Pay

$18.00–$22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Act as a companion to residents, encouraging and respecting their independence
• Assist with keeping residents’ apartments tidy and perform domestic duties as requested
• Provide ambulation and transfer assistance
• Assist with toileting, bathing, and grooming
• Perform wake-up services and dressing assistance
• Prepare meals
• Provide organizational help
• Support ambulation (e.g., pushing a wheelchair or accompanying for balance)
• Run errands (e.g., grocery and household goods shopping)
• Provide companionship
• Give schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Know and understand resident’s expectations and meet them within community policy
• Inform supervisor of any changing conditions affecting a resident’s ability to function independently

Requirements

• Current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech Certificate or CNA license
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
• Compassionate and customer-focused approach to care
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions
• Flu vaccine required
