Certified Caregiver/MedTech Memory Care

About the role

Merrill Gardens at Anthem is currently seeking Caregivers/Med Techs to support residents in their beautiful community.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Absorb and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• AZ Caregiver certification or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
