About Assisting Hands Home Care

Assisting Hands®️ Home Care provides compassionate, dependable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Maintain quality of life and maximum independence for the elderly, disabled, and others needing assistance with the activities of daily living.
• Support clients in their daily needs, including companionship and engagement.
• Maintain clients' health and safety at home through providing high-quality personal care and monitoring their environment for safety risks.
• Follow an individualized, written Plan of Care to support clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, bathing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
• Shopping, running errands, meal preparation, and light house-keeping.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Able to utilize a smartphone-based app.
• Punctual and dependable.

Pay and Schedule

Compensation: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour

Hours: Dependent on specific case(s); Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
