Certified Caregiver, Assisted Living - Part Time

About the role

The Spectrum Story is full of compassion, hard work, and fun. This position involves providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living, transporting them within the community, responding to emergencies, reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining personal environments.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans as well as obtain vital signs.

Qualifications

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Schedule
