Certified Auto Body Technician $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies Body Shop Estimator of any additional supplement parts or repairs needed.
• Notifies management and Body Shop Estimator of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
• Reports any deviations to management.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified in Specific Car brands.
• At least 5 years experience. Working as a standalone body technician preferred.
• Must be I-CAR Certified / along with Steel Welding certificate.
• Must have a passion and aptitude for collision repair technologies.
• Must have an impressive work ethic.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to operate a standard-transmission vehicle.
