About the role
HealthWorks is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes.
Responsibilities
- Service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes.
- Pair coverage needs with availability to create a flexible schedule.
- Implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation.
- Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record changes.
- Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support.
- Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification.
- CPR certification.
- Applicable state license where required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1,000 hours in a calendar year for 401(k) matching.
Skills
- Knowledge of athletic training techniques.
- Ability to manage emergency situations.
