Certified Athletic Trainer- Injury Prevention Specialist - PRN

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist / Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team supporting our onsite industrial contracts in central PA. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

About the role

This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• Applicable state license where required
• Minimum one year experience as an Athletic Trainer
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training
• Industrial Health experience

Pay

$35.00 - $40.00, hourly, based on years of experience
