CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINER - FULL TIME

About the role

Provide athletic trainer treatments and consultations to a variety of athletes and non-athletes in accordance with the written and verbal instructions of supervising physician.

Responsibilities

• Review the patient/athlete’s record and conduct a thorough assessment
• Maintain required documentation
• Adhere to Watson Clinic policies & procedures in the administering and documenting of medication given, or prescribed by ordering MD (as required by specialty)
• Prepare patient for office visit
• Maintain integrity by maintaining flow of patients
• Assist with dressing changes, removal of sutures, and remove and apply casts and other appliances as directed
• Assist physician in marketing, development, and delivery of sports medicine services

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Athletic training program with Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience: Prefer at least one year of previous experience in an outpatient setting
• Other Requirements: Must possess current state licensure, national certification, and CPR certification
