About the Role

The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) provides sports-related prevention, care, rehabilitation, referral, and injury marketing services within a high school environment. Under supervision from healthcare professionals, the AT addresses musculoskeletal injuries and sports ailments for athletes across various age groups, including adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based sports injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
• Assist in referral processes and injury marketing efforts.
• Cover practices, games, tournaments, and events during evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA; master's degree preferred.
• Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and South Carolina licensure.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills for diverse age groups.
