Certification Technician - Aerospace Industry

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer purchase orders and processes for accuracy.
• Reviews specification and/or drawing revision levels, special instructions and handling or packaging requirements to ensure accuracy.
• Verifies that all processes and worksheets are complete and accurate within the internal work order.
• Inputs, creates, signs, and stamps certifications in preparation for product delivery.
• Ensures all purchase orders, purchase order changes as well as any other job-related documentation is properly addressed for permanent record keeping.
• Correctly uses Real Time Problem Resolution (RTPR) system to resolve issues with paperwork.
• Utilizes problem-solving abilities to identify and troubleshoot transactional issues within the certification process.
• Maintains monitoring of reporting tools and metrics for priority planning.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Excellent proof-reading abilities and spelling essential.
• Able to provide extra attention to detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in interfacing professionally with customers.
• Computer literate with a good working ability in Microsoft Office products.
• Desired ERP system experience, especially Syteline.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English, including reading written purchase orders and paperwork.
• A regular and dependable attendance record required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
