About the role
Provide exceptional nurture and care for infants and young children within our Early Learning services. Your role involves working with the Educational Leader and ECT to deliver educational programming and day-to-day care, focusing on the children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Accommodate and develop the children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational needs.
- Engage and inspire the children every day, ensuring they are safe, supported, and forever exploring to learn new things.
- Drive the children’s learning and development through the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Maintain vigilant supervision and ensure safe and inclusive learning environments for all children.
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with the children and their families.
- Assist children with sleeping, eating, and going to the bathroom, and offer cuddles as needed.
Requirements
You are responsible for having a sound working knowledge of our Service Philosophy, Policies and Procedures. Essential skills include being approachable, friendly, warm, and having a can-do positive attitude. A Certificate III Qualification in Early Childhood Education is required.
