As Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll support the efficient processing, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and equipment. You’ll help ensure clinical areas have safe, properly prepared supplies needed to deliver quality patient care. Think you’ve got what it takes? Responsibilities Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, medical device IFU’s and best practicesReceives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriatelyPerforms physical and environmental duties as designated on a routine daily basis, including but not limited to cleaning workspace/instrument room/cabinets, emptying biohazards waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental monitorsCompletes sterilization processesPerforms high-level disinfectionPerforms other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Qualifications H.S.
