About the role

A Certified Medical Assistant in our clinics is responsible for patient care, assisting the physician, maintaining exam rooms, autoclaving, managing patient charts, and providing clerical or technical support to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical examinations, including checking and recording vital signs, weight, medications, and chief complaints.
• Understands and applies universal precautions and follows Infection Control procedures.
• Assists the physician with exams, procedures, minor surgeries, and administering injections.
• Stocks and maintains exam rooms.
• Cleans, maintains, and autoclaves instruments.
• Assists in the lab and with X-ray procedures.
• Provides other clerical or technical services as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification from an approved credentialing board (e.g., NHA, AMT, NCCT).
