CEQA / NEPA Project Manager
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include only sections with real content. We have overview, location, practice/department, work environment, compensation, company overview, position overview (who you are, how you'll make an impact), duties and responsibilities (multiple subcategories), minimum qualifications, preferred qualifications, compensation repeated, working conditions, physical requirements, EEO boilerplate (to remove). Also we have "Connect with us!" social media (should be removed as boilerplate). Also "Learn more about our award-winning culture..." maybe part of overview but not a section heading; we can include as prose under About the role? The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to decide which headings to use based on content.
We have:
- Overview (location, practice/department, work environment, compensation). Could be "About the role" or "Overview". The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can use "About the role" heading for overview content.
- Responsibilities: we have Duties And Responsibilities with subpoints. We'll put under Responsibilities
and list items in - .
- Requirements: could be Minimum Qualifications. Use
Requirements
maybe.
- Qualifications: could be Preferred Qualifications. Use Qualifications
(or maybe separate). But we have both Minimum and Preferred. Could combine under Requirements and Qualifications? The instruction says we can use those headings. We'll do Requirements for minimum qualifications, Qualifications for preferred qualifications.
- Skills: maybe we can extract skills from responsibilities and qualifications? But we may not need a separate Skills section if not explicit. The instruction says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we may skip Skills if not distinct.
- Benefits: not explicitly listed besides compensation. There's mention of benefits and perks of being a Dudekian in overview but not specific. No concrete benefits listed. So we should not create Benefits section unless posting actually states them. It mentions "Learn more about our award-winning culture, the benefits and perks of being a Dudekian". That's not specific. So we should not create Benefits.
- Pay: we have compensation: $110,000-$160,000 annually*. So we should include Pay section.
- Schedule: we have Work Environment: Hybrid. That's schedule? Could be Schedule section. The posting says Work Environment: Hybrid. That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section.
Thus sections: About the role (overview), Responsibilities, Requirements (minimum qualifications), Qualifications (preferred qualifications), Pay, Schedule.
We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings (none present). Must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Connect with us!" social media, EEO paragraphs, etc. Also remove "Learn more about our award-winning culture , the benefits and perks of being a Dudekian , and the projects you will have the opportunity to shape." That's maybe part of overview but not boilerplate; it's promotional but still substantive? It's not specific detail about role; but it's part of company overview. Might keep as prose under About the role.
We must preserve all substantive information: location(s), practice/department, work environment, compensation, company history, mission, etc. Also position overview: Who You Are, How You'll Make An Impact. Also duties and responsibilities details. Also minimum qualifications, preferred qualifications. Also working conditions and physical requirements? Those are substantive; we might include them under a section like "Working Conditions" but not in the list of allowed headings. The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use those for those categories. It might be okay to add other headings if needed, but they gave examples. Safer to stick to those headings only. However we have substantive info about working conditions and physical requirements that don't fit those headings. Could we fold them into Responsibilities or About the role? Probably not ideal. But we could create a section "Working Conditions" as an even though not in examples; the instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those as examples. It might be acceptable to add others if needed. However they said "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." This implies those are the expected headings. They also said "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we should incorporate working conditions into Responsibilities or About the role. But working conditions is distinct. Could we put under About the role? Might be okay.
Physical requirements also could be folded into About the role or Responsibilities.
Better to keep sections: About the role (includes overview, location, practice/department, work environment, company overview, position overview, working conditions, physical requirements). Responsibilities (duties). Requirements (minimum qualifications). Qualifications (preferred qualifications). Pay (compensation). Schedule (hybrid). That covers all.
We must not repeat compensation twice; we have it in overview and later; we will include only once in Pay section.
We must not include duplicated lines.
