Responsibilities

  • Establish a search process aimed at generating sufficient deal flow, aligning with pre-defined criteria.
  • Manage the acquisition process with support from NCA’s experienced Investment team.
  • Step into the CEO role of the newly acquired business.
  • Proactively generate and evaluate strategic growth options, develop long-term business strategy, and create 100-day action plans.
  • Grow the business top line through impactful marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Build a culture that fosters innovation and digital transformation.
  • Review product/service offerings, portfolio strategies, existing brand positioning, and implement improvements.
  • Identify value creation opportunities, design new products/services (NPD), and define go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage geographical expansions, preparing and implementing market entry strategies.
  • Manage efficiencies and ensure profitable growth.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Academic achievement (preferably an Executive MBA or MBA degree).
  • Minimum 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across multiple geographies and locations.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven track record of running and growing businesses or large business units in the US, including P&L responsibility.
  • A strong strategic vision for a sector or industry.
  • Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Lived and worked in the US for the last 10 years.

We Offer

Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) is a global firm headquartered in Switzerland that specializes in solving succession challenges for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through its Operator-Led Search Fund (OLSF) Program. We collaborate with experienced, mid-career professionals with deep industry expertise to locate, acquire, and grow small privately held companies. The selection process for the program is highly competitive and involves several virtual interviews, case assignments, and personality assessments.

To apply, interested candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Receive the full Program Description and be invited to record a one-way video to complete your profile. These videos help our selection team understand your personal story beyond your CV.
  2. If selected, participate in an orientation call with our Assessment Center team to discuss your investment thesis, sectors, and industries of focus.
  3. Attend a second Zoom interview with the Assessment Center to pitch your investment thesis and discuss your professional background.
  4. Participate in a third interview with one of our managing partners to cover your professional experience, motivation to join the program, and potential search cases in depth.
  5. Attend the Assessment Center, a 50-minute panel interview with a selected group of jurors. Prepare a 15-minute pitch on a specific case provided by the team.
  6. Upon successful completion of all selection stages, candidates will be invited to join the program.
