Responsibilities

  • Captures and maintains accurate records of resident payor status (Medicare, Medicaid, Skilled or Private).
  • Maintains accurate records of resident requirements for supplies.
  • Notifies changes in resident status (death, discharge, change in Doctor’s order).
  • Maintains purchase order system, ensures all purchase orders and invoices are forwarded to accounts payable for non e-procurement orders.
  • Utilizes the DSSI e-procurement system and PCC for resident charge capture if applicable.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Active CNA certification in the state of practice, required.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology and supplies.
  • One year of work experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
