Responsibilities
- Captures and maintains accurate records of resident payor status (Medicare, Medicaid, Skilled or Private).
- Maintains accurate records of resident requirements for supplies.
- Notifies changes in resident status (death, discharge, change in Doctor’s order).
- Maintains purchase order system, ensures all purchase orders and invoices are forwarded to accounts payable for non e-procurement orders.
- Utilizes the DSSI e-procurement system and PCC for resident charge capture if applicable.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Active CNA certification in the state of practice, required.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology and supplies.
- One year of work experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
