Responsibilities
- Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
- Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
- Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
- Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
- Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
Qualifications
- High School Graduate / GED Graduate from a Sterile Processing Technician school
- Current Sterile Processing Technician Certification or agreement to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Central Sterile experience required
