Job Requirements

JOB SUMMARY: Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations.

Work Experience

• Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Education & Training: High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).
  • Work Orientation & Experience: Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision.
  • Capable of assisting in on-the-job training of new team members.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.
  • Adaptability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts.
  • Collaborative team member who can organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities.
  • Compliance with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Benefits

• Full-Time Evening (7:30pm-11:30pm)
• Pay Range: $20.47 - $28.64/hr. (depends on years of experience)
• Other Compensation (if applicable): Shift Differential
