Schedule
Days: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with on-call and weekend shifts as needed.
Pay
Pay range: $21.94 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the distribution of reusable supplies and equipment.
- Ensures decontamination of supplies and equipment through cleaning and terminal sterilization according to pre-established guidelines.
- Assists the supervisor in daily departmental activities, including the orientation of new associates.
Requirements
- Demonstrates skills in communication and problem-solving.
- Ensures effective workflow in the department.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments.
- Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with the Central Sterile Supply Department and all Thompson Health associates.
- Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information, including patients, staff, and the health system.
- Maintains status as a Certified Central Service Technician.
- Demonstrates the CARES Values and Standards of Cooperation at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification through IAHCSMM or equivalent required within 18 months of employment.
- One to three years of experience as a Central Sterile Supply technician preferred (no experience required).
