Position Summary
The Regional Director of Mental Health monitors all aspects of Mental Healthcare services in a designated region or contract. They have the authority, responsibility, and accountability for effecting and monitoring compliance of Behavioral Health services with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, state, or jail contract requirements, and ACA/NCCHC standards. The Regional Director of Behavioral Health coordinates and ensures effective administration of psychiatric services as further described below and provide administrative guidance and support to site Mental Health staff and support of regional management.
Minimum Requirements
- Must hold a Florida licensure in one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or a licensed Psychologist
- Must be fluent in English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
- Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Able to deal tactfully with personnel, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Possess leadership and supervisory ability and be able to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
