Central Processing Distribution Technician (Non-Certified) - CPD - Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shift (Union)

About the role

The position is responsible for providing the daily resource support to the Hospital related to equipment, sterile and non-sterile supplies. The CPD Technician works in conjunction with SPD in storing, and distributing equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resource support to the Hospital related to equipment, sterile and non-sterile supplies.
• Work in conjunction with SPD in storing and distributing equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Prefer one-year experience in a CPD environment. Experience in Acute Care hospital preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of handling of medical equipment and supplies per recommended infection control guidelines.
• Able to mobilize equipment timely to areas needing equipment.
• Assists with performing stock inventories and restocking of supplies.
• Must be extremely organized.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.
• Ability to speak, read, and writes English. Computer literacy preferred.
