Central Processing Distribution Technician (Non-Certified) - CPD - Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shift (Union)

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resource support to the Hospital related to equipment, sterile and non-sterile supplies.
• Work in conjunction with SPD in storing and distributing equipment and supplies.
• Assist with performing stock inventories and restocking of supplies.
• Mobilize equipment timely to areas needing equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.
• Maintain extreme organization.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Computer literacy (preferred).

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent education.
• Prefer one-year experience in a CPD environment.
• Experience in an Acute Care hospital preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of handling medical equipment and supplies per recommended infection control guidelines.

Skills

• Excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication in English.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $26.91.
