Central Pharmacy Packaging Tech

About the Role

Works with other centralized packagers and the supervisor of pharmacy technicians and centralized packaging to package bulk tablets, capsules, and liquids for system-wide distribution. Performs tasks involving storage, packaging, distribution, labeling, and organization of drugs for the system. Helps ensure record keeping and compliance with both Maryland laws and LifeBridge Health policy. Participates in improvement and efficacy within the system related to packaging, labeling, and sorting of packed medications.

Responsibilities

• Package bulk tablets, capsules, and liquids for system-wide distribution.
• Handle storage, packaging, distribution, labeling, and organization of drugs.
• Ensure compliance with Maryland laws and LifeBridge Health policies.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in process improvements for packaging, labeling, and sorting.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License (Essential).
• Technician Product Verification Experience (Essential).
• 2-4 years of relevant experience (Essential).

Pay

$22.11 to $33.17 per hour, based on experience.
