Central Market (Southlake) Cashier - Part time

Responsibilities

• Processes customer transactions of goods and services while providing superior customer service.
• Collects payment for customer purchases.
• Demonstrates suggestive selling techniques.
• Bags groceries for customers.
• Maintains and manages potential front-end shrink.
• Makes change and keeps an accurate till.
• Answers product related questions for customers.
• Safeguards company food safety and sanitation expectations by following SOP's.

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Work Experience: Company Orientation - Required, Must know how to identify produce - Required, Basic mathematical skills - Required, Good communication & interpersonal skills - Required, Good problem solving skills - Required, Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards - Required
  • Education: Produce certification - Required, Alcohol Seller's Training - Required, Checker training - Required, Basics of Safety - Required
• Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy loads.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
  • Standing (for max. of 3hrs).
  • The work environment is fast paced and requires detailed work and precision.
