**Responsibilities Job Summary:** The Central Market is hiring a **Production Specialist** to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality of our products by managing the production process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial production, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:** - **Production Management:** Oversee the entire production process, ensuring all products meet quality standards before being sent to the sales floor. - **Inventory Control:** Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of products. - **Quality Assurance:** Regularly inspect products for quality, addressing any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. - **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery. - **Customer Service:** Assist customers with product inquiries, providing detailed information about ingredients and handling special requests. - **Sanitation & Organization:** Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. - **Record Keeping:** Maintain detailed records of production activities, including quantities produced, waste, and any deviations from standard procedures. - **Training & Development:** Participate in training new staff members and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. **Work Experience Qualifications & Key Requirements:** - **Experience:** 2-5 years of experience in a similar production role, preferably in a commercial setting. - **Skills:** Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
