Responsibilities

• Mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products.
• Ensure quality control of all products before sending to the sales floor.
• Maintain sanitation in the department.
• Organize back storage, freezer, walk‑in, and production areas.
• Read and execute daily production lists.
• Provide customer service, including answering questions and taking phone orders.
• Assist in monitoring product quality and shrink.
• Order and receive products and supplies.
• Maintain transfer records.
• Prepare, wrap, price, sell, and continuously stock products.
• Demonstrate or prepare customer samples for self‑serve.
• Deliver superlative customer service using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial production preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Physical ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum 50 lb).
