Responsibilities

• Mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products.
• Ensure quality control of all products before sending them to the sales floor.
• Maintain sanitation in the department.
• Organize back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production areas.
• Read and execute daily production lists.
• Provide customer service, including answering questions and taking phone orders.
• Monitor the quality of goods and track shrink.
• Order and receive products and supplies; maintain transfer records.
• Continuously prep, wrap, price, sell, and stock products.
• Prepare customer samples for self-serve or conduct demos.
• Deliver superlative customer service and use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Requirements

• Experience with commercial production preferred.
• Knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.).
• Bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
