Central Kitchen - Production Worker

About the role

Production Workers fill store orders by supplying various locations with soups, salads, marinades, sauces, spice kits, charcuterie, and more. They follow standard recipes and procedures and adhere to food safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Consult with team lead daily to coordinate order timing and production schedules
• Produce sandwiches, salads, soup, and dips for hot and cold cases
• Correctly package and label products for timely delivery
• Assist with ordering and maintain inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants
• Control product quality and monitor for potential allergens
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees
• Maintain health and safety sanitation requirements
• Hold a current Food Handler's Card (or be willing to obtain one prior to employment)

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Available to work any shift, including weekends
• Ability to follow standard recipes and procedures and food safety programs
• Willing to obtain a Food Handler's Card if not already certified

Qualifications

• Previous work experience preferred but not required; on-site training provided

Pay

Entry-level hourly wage starts at $16.10/hour and goes up to $19.10/hour depending on experience, with opportunity for growth up to $21.00/hour.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring availability to work any shift, including weekends.
