About the Role

Assist pharmacy staff in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping of prescriptions to all Kinney Drugs Pharmacies under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand specific aspects of the pharmacy management system, follow instructions, and complete tasks with urgency while maintaining daily department standards.
• Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions.
• Provide quality customer service to all Kinney Drug stores.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a professional environment, including replenishing vials, dispensing containers, labels, and computer paper supplies, as well as sweeping, sanitizing, and organizing workstations.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information.
• Stay current with all State and Federal requirements related to employment conditions.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Meet daily team deadlines and personal hourly quotas.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, including checking in orders, transfers, and stock rotation.
• Embrace the importance of Quality Assurance Policy & Procedures and patient care programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher.
• No prior experience required; on-site training provided.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must comply with initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
• Must meet any additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

Pay

$16.00 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
