Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience, preferably in a university environment.
- Fiscal accountability, capability of understanding budgets.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Ability to write concise, logical reports.
- Knowledge of standard practices in recreational sports.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work as part of, and lead a collaborative, professional team.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm.
Technical Competencies
- PC proficient and able to use Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Some knowledge of HR theories and best practices in recruitment and staff development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CSI Software.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Office environment/recreation environment
- No smoking environment
- Moderate to loud noise
- Local, regional and national travel as required
- Evening or weekend work as required
Physical Demands
- Sitting at desk or table for at least 70% of the work day
- Walking or working 30% of the work day
- Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)
- Occasional bending, stooping
- Eyehand coordination (keyboard typing)

- Extended periods of reading fine print
