Centerless Grinder

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Handle changing priorities and maintain results‑oriented motivation.
• Work some overtime as required.

Requirements

• Three years of experience with centerless and cylindrical grinders.
• Basic grinding skills to set‑up and run multiple cylindrical parts.
• Knowledge of grinding wheels and wheel dressing.
• Mechanical skills and basic shop mathematics (decimals to .0001”).
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precision gauging of aerospace parts.
• Some exposure to an industrial environment; familiarity with working with metals is helpful.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy gages.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or have refugee/asylee status due to ITAR/EAR compliance.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Shop math (decimal tolerance .0001”).
• Results‑oriented, motivated, adaptable to shifting priorities.

Pay

Pay range: $22 – $28 per hour (minimum).

Schedule

• Monday – Saturday.
• 2nd shift only.
• Overtime may be required.
