Center Store Associate

About the role

This role is responsible for displaying and stocking products, ensuring the financial health of the store, and adhering to company guidelines for guest experience, safety, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Aid in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Show familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know their locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safety, and Food Safety Guidelines.
• Comply with Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Exposed to varied temperatures and outside weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise levels in the work environment that are usually low to moderate.
