Center Manager I
About the role
The Center Manager I reports to the Regional Operations Director and works in Playa Vista. Exer's mission is to provide convenient access to ER doctors at a lower cost and with shorter wait times. The Center Manager I assists in the supervision and execution of all daily activities of a center to ensure optimal level of operations and customer satisfaction.
Major duties and responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Oversees and manages assigned clinic (may assist managing another clinic on a temporary basis), interviews, hires, trains, and mentors teammates as appropriate, approves daily punches in payroll system, handles call-outs, and ensures clinic is appropriately staffed.
Develops agenda and conducts staff meetings and daily huddles to communicate goals, align staff, enforce compliance, and uphold company policies/standards, motivates and leads team to achieve goals, collaborates with regional and corporate teams, effectively manages budget.
Patient Interaction/Customer Service: Provides exceptional and proactive customer service, resolves customer service issues, welcomes patients, manages appointment or virtual queue system, maintains accurate EMR records, and manages billing and supply orders.
Operations: Manages day-to-day operations, fills in for employee breaks/tasks, maintains checklist items, ensures safety and cleanliness, manages cash deposits, oversees facility improvements, and manages supply orders.

Technical skills: Knowledgeable about products/programs, uses necessary software products (Microsoft suite, email, Google documents, ADP, etc.), comfortable with computers.
Other: Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other State and Federal requirements, experience with Codonix and VIPA computer applications.
Education/credentials
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
Experience: 1-3 years successful experience in a leadership role, preferably in healthcare and/or retail environment.
Supervision
This position supervises all clinic staff personnel (Front Desk, Medical Assistants, Xray Techs, and Nurses) and is the clinic liaison with Medical Providers, Ops management, training team, corporate team, and external vendors. They are responsible for assisting with hiring, training, and mentoring employees. Company may change reporting structures based on business needs or growth.
Working conditions/physical requirements
Physical requirements: Must maintain a clean, healthful, and professional appearance, working in a clinical setting, standing and sitting for 4 hours at a time, using hands to finger, handle, reach, bending and stooping, bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
Other: Requires working with confidential and sensitive information, ongoing discretion, and secure information management, must be able to hear, speak, and write effectively in English.
