Center Manager - Dual Site (Woodlawn & Halethorpe)

Our physicians have patient panels of 400 or fewer, and we collaborate with the best outcomes-oriented specialists and hospitals in each market. Because we operate under a global capitation budget from Medicare Advantage plans, our focus is solely on keeping seniors healthy.

About the role

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall performance and operational management of all center activities to maximize efficiency. This role models and instills an uncompromising level of service excellence in every interaction with patients, guests, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all new patients are scheduled within thirty days of eligibility.
• Partner with center primary care physicians to ensure all screeners are completed in a timely manner (1–2 months).
• Deliver an uncompromising patient experience and drive employee satisfaction for both staff and physicians.
• Conduct New Patient Orientation.
• Maintain appropriate center staffing levels and ensure smooth, efficient patient flow.
• Partner with the sales team to achieve membership growth targets through community events, center tours, and other initiatives.
• Set an example for team members in commitment to center processes and activities.
• Manage internal and external communications regarding the medical center.
• Oversee clinic operations and staff duties, keeping medical professionals informed about healthcare administered at the clinic.
• Responsible for the appropriate use of resources and control of expenses (e.g., labor, supplies) to meet the center budget.
• Oversee the purchasing, maintenance, and repair of clinic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures to deliver optimal patient care.
• Perform hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.
• Ensure the medical center remains in a state of readiness for health plan audits and local, state, and federal inspections.
• Monitor and respond to operational KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health services administration, or similar.
• Experience in managing a healthcare facility or clinic.
• Ability to supervise and motivate clinic staff to perform their duties efficiently.
• Knowledge of procuring supplies, equipment, and staff needed at the clinic.
• Proficiency in managing budgets and experience working with an electronic health record (EHR).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for liaising with patients, physicians, specialists, and the public.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and communication at all times.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems resourcefully.
• Ability to take and follow through with assigned tasks with accountability.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical practice management experience.
• Knowledge of HEDIS/STARS, CAHPS, and HOS.
• Experience working in medically underserved or culturally diverse communities.
• Experience in motivational interviewing.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
• Bilingual (Spanish).

Pay

$95,000 – $120,000 USD per year (Baltimore Market).
