Center Manager (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

About the role

This position has overall authority for center operations, production goals, and financial oversight. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company SOPs, federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage center operations, production goals, and financial oversight
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines and maintain operational records
• Monitor donor retention, ensure efficient donor flow, and implement improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable regulations
• Perform staff tasks and duties to train and critique employees
• Develop and foster a philosophy of continuous improvement and support company values
• Collect and analyze data to maintain and improve center quality, efficiency, and profitability
• Implement effective corrective action plans when necessary
• Collaborate with quality personnel to ensure center compliance with company, regulatory, and customer requirements
• Participate in audits and develop effective corrective action plans to address areas of deficiency
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and procedures
• Ensure center and employee compliance with OSHA regulations and training
• Complete OSHA record-keeping and reporting requirements
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment and ensure sufficient operating supplies and forms
• Conduct recruitment, training, development, counseling, and termination of employees
• Manage employee turnover and adhere to HR policies and practices
• Communicate effectively with HR to ensure compliance
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints or concerns in a timely manner
• Represent the company and center in the community and with other businesses, local publications, and vendors
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (4 years minimum)
• 2+ years' supervisory or leadership experience or completion of CSL Plasma Leadership Development program
• Company Technical Training certification
• Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts

• Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials and make formal presentations
• Proficient in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Working Conditions

• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and have high manual dexterity
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Occasional standing and walking up to 100% of the time
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas
• Overnight travel required up to 10% of the time
