Center Director - Tomball, TX

About the role

Sylvan Learning is seeking a Center Director to lead and manage a center in Tomball, TX. The ideal candidate will maximize student enrollments, execute marketing strategies, deliver exceptional service, manage financials, and build strong relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maximize student enrollments
• Execute best marketing practices to increase awareness of Sylvan Learning in the region
• Deliver platinum level service to ensure parents and kids continue to return
• Manage center's performance, including revenue and expenses
• Oversee consultations and conferences with parents alongside educational staff
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff
• Recruit, train, and manage center's team

Requirements

• A positive attitude with a desire to be successful
• Education or customer service or retail management experience preferred, but not required
• People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team helpful, but not required
• The ability to influence and build positive relationships essential
• The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively. Training provided
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work some evening hours, and some Saturdays

Qualifications

While a background in education, customer service, or retail management is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.

Skills

Customer service skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to manage a business are crucial. Sylvan Learning provides training to help new Center Directors develop these skills.

Pay

Total estimated compensation ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, including a base salary of $55,000 to $65,000 and additional bonuses.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays.
