Responsibilities

• Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans
• Assist with the implementation of company-provided curriculum, including coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards
• Create an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents
• Promote children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things daily
• Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making it a provider of choice in educational programs
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff
• Help achieve profitability for the company

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Must meet state requirements for education; additional center/school requirements may apply
• Willingness to attain state-mandated Director requirements
• At least 2 years of Center Director experience in a licensed child care facility
