Center Director
InnovAge offers an alternative to nursing homes through its Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), providing enrolled seniors with customized healthcare and social support at PACE Adult Day Health Centers.
About the role
Physical attendance at an InnovAge facility and/or an InnovAge participant home is essential to performing the job duties. The Center Director leads, coordinates, and monitors staff and operations to meet the mission of the InnovAge PACE or LIFE programs, delivering on our five pillars: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Financial.
Responsibilities

- Service: participant satisfaction score
- Quality: compliance and quality targets; participate in the Quality Management Program, including quarterly meetings
- Growth: census targets
- Financial: assist leadership with development of annual FTE and operations budget for the Adult Day Healthcare Center (ADHC); achieve budgeted site revenue, medical costs, operating expenses, and contribution margin
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to formulate Plans of Care for participants and coordinate care in team settings.
- Implement standardized workflows, continually improve processes, develop and implement policy and procedures, and ensure staff understanding and adherence to standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the ADHC, including facility maintenance, repairs, inspections, and ensuring adequate equipment and supplies for safety and cleanliness.
- Foster a culture of compliance regarding licensing, accreditation, and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with IT to implement tools and technology supporting desired outcomes.
- Serve as a member of the Management Team and on various internal and external committees.
- Designate Clinic Manager or ADHC Manager when absent from the center.
- Oversee total food service and supervise food services staff, including coordinating food services, developing work assignments, purchasing food, and training employees.
- Effectively supervise and manage direct reports, providing leadership, motivation, and direction.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, recognizing and rewarding employees, and addressing complaints.
- Ensure annual employee performance reviews are conducted timely and effectively.
- Maintain department morale, teamwork, and a positive employment culture.
- Schedule regular leadership, department, and staff 1:1 meetings to provide leadership, development, and communication.
- Collaborate with sales, transportation, homecare, and network management teams to achieve local targets.
- Perform additional work functions and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 10+ years of healthcare experience (required)
- 10+ years of management experience (required)
- 1+ year working with the frail or elderly (required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain (required)
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Bilingual (preferred)

Pay
Posted pay range: $126,900 – $165,000
Salaries are determined by qualifications, experience, and location, and do not include potential bonuses or benefits.
