Center Director

About the role

The Center Director oversees the full implementation of Acelero Learning's early learning system, policies/procedures, and tools to support School Readiness Goals. They ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and provide coaching to teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the operational lead for the Center and Extended Day
• Oversees the implementation of Acelero Learning's early learning system, policies/procedures, and tools
• Ensures compliance with policies/procedures, including health and safety practices and licensing regulations
• Provides ongoing coaching to teaching staff to support successful performance
• Facilitates collaboration and coordination within the education team and across service areas and initiatives
• Manages the implementation of Acelero Learning required systems for recordkeeping and reporting
• Participates in assigned meetings, events, and training as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience required
• Experience managing an infant/toddler or preschool program preferred
• Experience with collaborations and community partnerships a plus

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical exam and background check required
• Travel required up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions

$68,000 annually
