Center-Based Behavior Technician - Training Provided
Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism, using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
About the Role
This role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to support each child effectively.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
- Reduce interfering behaviors through targeted interventions.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and their families.
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and modify intervention plans.
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient and compassionate.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if applicable).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay
$19 - $20 per hour
Schedule
Hours vary based on the needs of the program, but typically include evenings and weekends.
