About the role

Boston Behavior Learning Centers (BBLC) is seeking Full-Time Center-Based Behavior Technicians to provide early intervention services for children (up to 6 years old) with Autism Spectrum Disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position is located in Newton, MA and requires daytime availability.

We provide on-the-job training for behavior technicians and encourage anyone who enjoys working with children—such as nannies, babysitters, teachers, childcare providers, or paraprofessionals—to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with clients with Autism Spectrum disorders.
  • Support and foster independence with clients.
  • Provide instructional support and implement treatment and behavior plans.
  • Deliver instructional support in life skills areas, including social skills, activities of daily living, hygiene, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills.
  • Implement specialized curriculum designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support client needs.
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with families, BCBAs, and RBT team members.
  • Use tablets or computer-related devices to collect data required for analysis.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, and/or Education preferred, with at least 6 months of experience working with children (e.g., nannies, babysitters, teachers, childcare providers).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, or young adults is a plus.
